Best Brunch Date Spots in Little Rock, Arkansas

I have recently relocated to Little Rock, Arkansas where I live with my husband, and thought what a better way to share the best brunch date spots to dine as a couple, than writing a blog for other new residents and visitors! Some of these you may already know, but let's cut down to the chase because these delicious pictures will save you time if you need a quick bite to eat.

1. Taziki's

   I was definitely surprised to learn how many people have never tried Taziki's. Although I've learned about this Mediterranean chain restaurant only a year ago, I have already had them catered at my husband and I's wedding this May and the caterers did not disappoint. This has become our favorite spot on Sundays after church, and it is usually packed at that time. My personal favorite is the lemon chicken soup with the Mediterranean salad. Their menu has a nice variety, but you may just love one item so much you don't care to try anything else.

2. The Root Cafe

   This farm to table restaurant caught my eye because of the funky mural by its side, the perfect attention grabber for us millennials. This Instagram worthy spot serves breakfast, lunch and dinner which includes vegetables, fruits, veggies, eggs, bread and more from small farms and producers here in Arkansas. Their menu has a wide variety from breakfast style food to sandwiches, burgers, brats and salads. Pictured below are the Chicken & Dumplings, with the House Salads. Their lettuce tastes so fresh, nothing like the bland kind of lettuce we are used to tasting. This restaurant is still at the top of my list!

   
   

   

   

   
   
   
   
   
   

3. The Humble Crumb Bakery

   Since moving down here, I have noticed that this is definitely a local favorite of many. The Humble Crumb is more of a Sherwood, Arkansas restaurant, but we decided to include it in the Little Rock food favorites because it's that good. It is brunch date worthy because of the cozy vibes and cottage style house it is located in, away from the hustle. It serves breakfast and lunch - everything from quiche to the triple berry smoothie and chicken salad and baked goods. They do "Tuesday Tea" and even rent the space out for small events because of its charm. Definitely a recommend!

   
   

   

   
   
   
   

4. The Bagel Shop

   Located on the same strip as the Root Cafe and Waffle Press Co., the Bagel Shop is a great brunch spot to try. The bagels are a little bit on the pricier side depending on what you get, but definitely worth it. It is a perfect date spot because of its relaxed atmosphere, sandwich shop vibes where you can get coffee as well. 5. @ the Corner Modern Diner

   Although usually pretty packed because of its popularity, @ the Corner is a great brunch date spot. Expect to wait a little, and don't go if you are wanting more something low traffic and private, but it the food is great. 6. Press Waffle Co.

   This restaurant offers an authentic Belgian waffle experience, where you can create your own waffle. Its success peaked after getting a deal on "Shark Tank," and I think it's the perfect date spot because of its relaxed, fun atmosphere. 7. Kalua's Snack Bar

   Although Kalua's is not a brunch meal spot, I had to include it in the list because it had all the perfect sweets and snacks! It is a Mexican ice cream shop with refreshing beverages and more that you have got to try. It is definitely not like any other ice cream shop and offers an extensive menu.
